This past week I had the pleasure of reading Maxwell Klausner's All Lies and Jest, directed by Estefanía Fadul, for Lucas Hnath's BFA Dramatic Writing program at NYU Tisch. Set in a series of comedy clubs and an NYC late-night show set, the play dives into the world of three stand-up comedians at three different points in their careers. It explores the emerging and ever-evolving genre of feminist-humor, through characters that are at once hilarious and heart-breaking. Thanks to all for a wonderful time!
