It's not a complete month without a new project at The Flea! Rounding out this year's projects I got to play a variety of roles in the new play Abject/Object by Nick Robideau, directed by Courtney Ulrich. The play is a drama with plenty of comedic moments, and follows Erica as she discovers her powerful love for certain objects - rather than humans. The players surrounding Erica's coming out as an "objectum sexual," or OS, are her mother, closest friend, select ostracizing townspeople, and of course, the objects. My favorite thing about working on the play? There's nothing better than getting to unleash that Boston accent for an hour and a half.
